The Awards have been developed by the coach and education professionals of British Gymnastics (the UK National Governing Body) for use in gym clubs, schools and leisure centres and are currently widely used within these environments.
The Awards are endorsed by the Association for Physical Education (afPE) and underpin the teaching of gymnastics within the National Curriculum. They can be used both for extra-curricular and extended school provision.
The Awards provide an appropriate entry route for higher-level and discipline specific skills such as floor, vault, apparatus and group work.
The resource package can also be purchased with a Dartfish Content Disc. The disc contains approximately 80 reference clips and mediabooks in gymnastics.
